Callback Exam - Scheduling Reminders:

Internal vs. External Callback Scheduling:

• It's important to schedule the correct exam for each situation:
  • Internal Callback Exam (patients screening mammogram was done at Washington Radiology)
    • Schedule using the Callback exam code
    • List Appointment Reason as "Callback"
      
  • External Callback Exam (patients screening was done OUTSDIE of Washington Radiology)
    • Schedule using the Diagnostic Mammogram exam code
    • List the Appointment Reason as "Other Appointment Reason", then in the Other field, notate "Outside Callback"
