MRI's in Germantown/Bethesda:
- For patients who are seeking to schedule and MRI in the Germantown or Bethesda area, please remember that some of our Progressive Radiology locations are in the same buildings as our Washington Radiology locations.
- The Progressive locations in Germantown and Bethesda both perform MRI exams. If a patient is requesting an MRI in those areas, provide them with the scheduling phone number and warm transfer to the Progressive location they would like to schedule at.

Fairfax DEXA Services:
- DEXA services are currently not available at our Fairfax location.
- We do not have a date on when these services will resume.

Liver Elastography Update:
- We have made a few minor changes to the information you will see regarding Liver Elastography exams. We wanted to share these with you for your awareness
- The "Prep Notes" have been updated to reflect prep instructions for morning appointments only; this was done to reduce confusion since these exams may only be scheduled in the morning.
- The General Ultrasound/Sonography - Codes and Scheduling Guidelines job aid has also been updated. We removed the note that said these exams were only offered at Chevy Chase and Bethesda. Liver Elastography exams can be scheduled at any location that offers general ultrasound exams.

- We also removed the verbiage that indicated this exam is also known as a "Fibroscan". This information was inaccurate, and we have added Fibroscan to the list of exams not performed by Washington Radiology.
