Worker's Compensation
Effective 7/1/24, Washington Radiology is in contract with the following worker's compensation payors. Please review the information below.
- What is Worker's Compensation?
- A government-mandated program that provides benefits to workers who become injured or ill on the job or as a result of the job.

- Do we accept Worker's Compensation?
- YES for all exam types! We ONLY accept the following payors when the case is originated in Maryland or Virginia. DC originated cases follow a different process.

- Homelink
- Streamline
- Premier Comp
- Clarity

- Required Scheduling Script:
- "What state approved the worker's comp case? We are only contracted to see cases approved by Maryland and Virginia."

- How to enter in Merge RIS:
- Carrier Name is Worker's Comp payor name
- JAG (listed in Merge as JAGWC)
- Homelink
- Streamline
- Premier Comp
- Clarity
- Policy Number is the Claim Number found on the patient's authorization form
- Carrier Name is Worker's Comp payor name
- Additional Information:
- The patient MUST bring the Worker's Compensation Authorization Form to the appointment, or it can be faxed to us.
- The patient will be provided with a CD of their images at the time of their appointment.
- There is no need to wait the five days for exams that require pre-authorization.
