Reading Patient File
When viewing patient history, there are many options available on the main patient file.
- Main Bar:
- Refresh
- Refresh all information on screen including appointments, alerts, and notes
- Patient Demographics (Edit)
- Click to update patient demographics
- Calendar
- Click to schedule appointment for patient
- CD Import - REMOVED
- Patient flags – Will only appear if the patient has an alert
- Patient level alerts. Ex: Hearing Impaired
- Clear Filters
- Clears out any filters applied to the patient screen
- Worklist Views
- Set to “Contact Center” view – This is a 1-time setup and eRAD will save setup!
- Refresh
- Last MRN’s Opened (Bottom Left):
- Ability to view the last 10 screens viewed/handled with MRN
- Patient Exam History
- Flags – Patient Additional Alerts – Not used in Contact Center
- Nuggets – Appointment alerts and notes
- Person – Patient Demographics Quick View
- Post-it – Patient Notes (Different than Appointment Notes)
- Paper Clip – Attachments (Orders, DL, etc.)
- Paper – Report
- Circle with an i – Information (Not used in Contact Center)
- Procedures – Exam
- Urgency Level – Order Status or Priority Status
- Ex: O, 1st, 2nd callcompleted, Screening, Need Order, Etc.
- Room Name – Room and Center exam is scheduled in
- Note: If room name is “Physician Order”, exam is NOT YET Scheduled!!!
- Scheduled Date and Time – Date and Time appointment is scheduled for
- Status – Exam Status
- Scheduled
- Verify Room Name!!
- If Room Name is “Physician Order”, exam is not yet scheduled!
- Any other room name:
- Date in Future – Appointment scheduled in future
- Date in Past – No Show
- Verify Room Name!!
- Cancelled
- Arrived
- Exam Done - Exam completed but report not started
- Report Drafted – Report started but not yet complete
- Signed – Finalized report
- Scheduled
- Referring – Referring physician
- MRN
- Accession #
- All other columns are NOT used in the Contact Center!
- Filters:
- The Patient Folder is set up like an Excel document. Each column can be filtered.
- To filter, click on the funnel and apply any filter needed.
