Class (Prior Imaging Status)

The information below can be useful when selecting the Class (Prior Imaging Status) in eRAD.

• Outpatient:
  • This will display when calling patient for Overdue or when scheduling a new appointment without an order
  • Update to one of the following:
    • No priors
    • Priors Not Needed
    • Priors Preferred
    • Priors Required

• Pending Orders:
  • This will display when calling patients for Orders. Selected by Admin Team/Document Processors ONLY!
  • Update to one of the following:
    • No Priors
    • Priors Not Needed
    • Priors Preferred
    • Priors Required

• No Priors:
  • Selected for patients who have NEVER had a mammogram or breast ultrasound ANYWHERE before

• Priors Not Needed:
  • Selected for returning patients whose last breast exam was completed at Solis
  • Selected for patients who are only scheduled for a bone density exam

• Priors Preferred:
  • Selected for patients who are NEW to Solis and scheduling a Screening Mammogram
  • Selected for patients who are NEW to Solis and presenting with new symptoms in the breast or axilla area
  • Any patients whose last breast exam was 10 or more years ago

• Priors Required:
  • Selected for patients who are NEW to Solis and scheduling a Recall or Follow Up breast exam
  • Selected for patients who are NEW to Solis and have a personal history of breast cancer within the last 5 years
  • Selected for patients who have had an abnormal breast MRI done outside of Solis
  • Explain that if these are not brought with the patient or sent over prior to arrival they will be unable to complete their appointment that day and will need to reschedule.
